That delay wash setting sounds like something I need to look into. :) Enjoyed reading this!CNixonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11404450118995636848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1640697137378019551.post-59765298875942155972013-09-11T11:47:51.437-05:002013-09-11T11:47:51.437-05:00My husband was the driving force behind actually c...My husband was the driving force behind actually changing our laundry method to exclude folding. I kept joking about sorting and stuffing and finally we reached a point where we needed to change because I couldn't keep up otherwise - our master bedroom was being taken over by giant piles of laundry! We tried it moving into our current house but I haven't found a good closet to use. e just use some plastic storage drawers (one set for each child) and the girls get a basket for their every day dresses. For now it works, but I don't like having the clothing storage in the rooms. Hopefully our next house will have a better closet set up so I can implement that great idea!Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02739393852429076077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1640697137378019551.post-13927764010835749632013-09-11T10:17:31.909-05:002013-09-11T10:17:31.909-05:00I love the idea of sorting and stuffing! When I was growing up I had a friend whose family didn't fold their underclothing - I thought it was so weird! :) It has cut back on time and helped me get over the hump of getting clean laundry out of a pile and into our drawers. Blessings with your laundry pile! :)Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02739393852429076077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1640697137378019551.post-71266806923999467252013-09-11T06:44:57.973-05:002013-09-11T06:44:57.973-05:00You're giving me permission not to fold clothe...You're giving me permission not to fold clothes, my most hated household chore??? I LOVE you! ;) Folding some clothing items saves time later on, but I've always wondered why on earth we waste so much time folding clothes NOBODY EVEN SEES like underwear and undershirts. Even when we get behind on laundry, we can have several loads sorted and put away in 20-30 minutes. I must agree. With a house full of littles, it really is. I think I'm going to try the "sort and stuff" method!!...(thats what their dresser drawers look like i do anyway!) And as far as sorting laundry, I don't do that either. It all goes in one big load unless their is something that is particularly new and I feel like the color might bleed the first wash then I might make an exception, otherwise its all or nothing ;)Bonniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07196630905191572327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1640697137378019551.post-88369945386201714782013-09-04T15:55:52.581-05:002013-09-04T15:55:52.581-05:00Thanks! I fold things and put them away in the drawers but my boys constantly mess everything up as they root around choosing what to wear. Think your relaxed approach is great.

Linked here from Welcome Home Wednesday Linkup.
Blessings
Mel from Essential Thing DevotionsAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14082650577300405939noreply@blogger.com
